Location description: 

Before the Infection, Vitae Street was an active, bustling hotspot that hosted a variety of activities; concerts featuring upstart bands, festivals of all trades, and various other extravagant events. Smaller businesses were painted eye-catching colors to draw in tourists and those on a budget, whereas companies with bigger paychecks had a New Age finish, with metallic colors and highlights to appear more business-like and streamline. The street itself was groomed on a weekly basis; card-slapper ads were swept from the gutters, waste was moved to alley dumpsters – anything to keep Vitae in its prime. 

Due to the dismal environment the Ailment has constructed, the street now serves as a graveyard for skeletons of vendor carts, trashed stores, looted dumpsters, and abandoned vehicles. The lively air of Vitae Street has spiraled into a melancholy atmosphere fit for a dystopian young adult novel; the undead lurk in dim alleyways, shuffle around the husks of cars, or lie prone upon the sidewalk, waiting to be disturbed by a careless passerby. Although at first glance the area seems void of all salvageable items, there is a possibility for material gain. If a vigilant character searches hard enough, they may be able to find valuable items scattered throughout the street – packs of batteries in electronic outlet shops, sunscreen in summer-oriented stores, even earmuffs in a themed kiosk.
